Ford down to number 4 in the world
The Volkswagen Group has overtaken Ford in terms of global sales for the first six months of 2008.
This elevates the German car maker to the position of the world’s third largest Automaker.
Ford has been shuffled into fourth place having sold approximately 3.09 million vehicles in the first half of 2008, down 11%, while Volkswagen sales rose 7.2% to 3.31 million vehicles sold.
