Stars and their 'pimped' cars

Ok so you have money, you have fame and most people on the planet would know your name. What else would ‘stars’ need, maybe a car or two, and like most things they have to have something different and sometimes completely over the top!

So just to mention a few names:

Shaq A huge fan of the auto after market, Shaq should’ve taken out shares with West Coast Customs. At 7’1” the NBA star has needed many modifications to his cars just so he can fit in them! With every car pimped with extras, it’s his Superman “S” logo that makes his rides unique. From his Rolls Royce Phantom with custom made Superman wheels, to his Hummer H2 that sport the “S” symbol on every spoke of the 26" wheels, Shaq knows how to make his mark.

Snoop Dogg It’s hard to pinpoint just one of the rappers tricked out low riders. Although his platinum pinstriped 66 Cadillac “Snoop de Ville” comes with 3 chandeliers, it’s his 67 Pontiac Parisienne that is the Doggfather of all cars. Not just a good looker with a gold and purple LA Lakers paint job, a hood signed by the team, and a purple gold zirconium encrusted dashboard, this ride also has hydro pumps that bounce the car from side to side as it’s cruising.

Paris Hilton Not to be out done by Britney, Paris Hilton jumped on the pink bandwagon asking the West Coast Customs crew to tweak her classic Bentley Continental GT for her birthday. Pink from head to toe, with monogrammed seats and real diamond accents, she even replaced the B on the hood with a PH, just in case she lost it. Oh Barbie would be so proud.

Wyclef Jean This customiser king rivals Shaq in the pimping stakes. Wyclef boasts 37 uniquely decked out cars from the rare Pagoni Zonda sports car, to his McLaren F1. But it’s his Hummer H2 that causes a stir, with its fully equipped fish tank he fills with sharks on special occasions – why not?

P Diddy For a guy that can’t decide on his own name, choosing the amount of modifications for his Chevy Express 3500 was a good effort. The rapper effortlessly turned his $28,000 van into a $380,000 beast with an extended cab, plasma screens, leather bottle holders, a wine chiller, and initialled hardwood floors.

Corey Maggette Although relatively unknown down under, NBA star Corey Maggette has a pimped out ride worthy of a mention. In addition to a custom paint job, the 19ft long Blue Raspberry Cadillac Escalade’s interior mimics a lounge room, with 22 TV screens, clear plexiglass seats to view the floor mounted TV’s and Louis Vuitton decor from top to bottom. No wonder he won the King of Bling title in 2005.

Mmm – whatever is next…
