We all know that drinking and driving do not mix but an American man has taken the concept to new levels.
Falling off a bar stool can hurt one’s pride, if not more, but an Ohio man got into trouble with the law for crashing his motorised version.
Kile Wygle, 28, injured his head in the recent mishap with a motorised bar stool and was charged with drink driving and driving on a suspended licence, according to American police.
While being treated by paramedics, Wygle told an officer he consumed “a lot” of beers, he also told police that his stool on wheels, which is powered by a lawn mower engine, can reach 38 mph.
The number of beers was reported to be at least 15, before crashing the bar stool at 32km/h, a police account showed. Some people have made a sport of racing bar stools equipped with tires, a steering wheel and a small engine, Newark police Sergeant Barry Connell said, however this is proving to be a dangerous sport especially when combined with alcohol.
